1995 Treasure Hunts Series

Released in 1995, the Treasure Hunts Series featured 12 models a year, with one released each month. The miniatures came with a special spectraflame paint and rubber tires.

The series is highly valued today especially if it is complete in the original box. It marked the release of the Hot Wheels “treasure hunt.”

These are the Treasure Hunts from 1995:

  • Olds 442 – Body: Metallic blue with rally stripes on hood and white stripes on sides. Clear windows with white interior. Chrome wheels with a red line.
  • Gold Passion – Body: black base with metalflake gold top coat. Lavender, gold and black designs on the hood and on the sides. Clear windows with beige interior. Gold wheels with a white line.
  • ’67 Camaro – Body: white with orange rally stripes on hood and trunk. Clear windows with orange interior. Goodyear tires with grey wheels and chrome rim.
  • ’57 T-Bird – Body: Metalflake black with clear windows and clear interior. Chrome wheels with white line.
  • VW Bug – Body: Florescent green with clear windows and purple interior. Purple wheels with chrome rim.
  • Split Window ’63 – Body: Metalflake blue with clear windows and white interior. Chrome wheels with white line.
  • Stutz Blackhawk – Body: Black with gold Hot Wheels logo on windshield. Clear windows and red interior.
  • Rolls Royce Phantom II – Body: Metalflake dark red with tan roof. Clear windows and red interior. Red wheels with chrome rim.
  • Classic Caddy – Body: Metalflake green, clear windows and tan interior. Gold wheels.
  • Classic Nomad – Body: Metalflake aqua with red Hot Wheels logo on windshield. Clear windows and grey interior. Chrome wheels.
  • Classic Cobra – Body: Metalflake green with gold stripes. Clear windows and tan interior. Gold wheels.
  • ’31 Doozie – Body: Yellow with red Hot Wheels logo. Clear windows and black interior. Yellow wheels.

The Treasure Hunts Series started in 1995. There were several changes until we reached the current series, divided between the Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts.
