The 1996 Treasure Hunts are the second series of the TH series. The miniatures came with a special spectraflame paint and rubber tires.

These are the 1996 Treasure Hunts:

  • ’40’s Woodie – Yellow with Gold Hot Wheels logo on right side window. Tinted windows with black interior. Yellow wheels with a yellow line.
  • Auburn 852 – Black with metalflake gold overlay. Hot Wheels logo over a white background. Clear windows with a dark gold interior. Gold wheels with white line.
  • Ferrari 250 – Metallic grey with HW logo on rear. Clear windows with a red interior. Chrome wheels.
  • Jaguar XJ220 – Metallic green with gold Hot Wheels logo on rear window. Tinted black windows with black interior. Gold wheels.
  • ’59 Caddy – Red with white stripe. Clear windows with white interior. Chrome wheels with white line.
  • Dodge Viper RT/10 – White with blue rally stripes. Clear windows with black interior. White wheels.
  • ’57 Chevy – Metallic purple with gold Hot Wheels logo on windshield. Tinted purple windows with clear purple interior. Goodyear on tires and chrome wheels.
  • Ferrari 355 – Pearl white with gold Hot Wheels logo on rear. Clear windows with tan interior. Gold wheels.
  • ’58 Corvette – Metalflake silver with red detail on sides and Hot Wheels logo on rear. Clear windows with red interior. Chrome wheels with a white line.
  • Lamborghini Countach – Fluor orange with black trim details and gold Hot Wheels logo on windshield. Clear windows with tan interior. Chrome wheels.
  • Dodge Ram 1500 – Metallic burgandy with white and gold Hot Wheels logo on rear. Clear windows with grey interior. Chrome wheels.
  • ’37 Bugatti – Metallic dark blue with white and gold Hot Wheels logo on rear. Clear windows and red interior. Chrome wheels.

The Treasure Hunts Series started in 1995. There were several changes until we reached the current series, divided between the Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts.
